WhoSampled is the official app for the website of the same name that lets you get info about 'samples' of thousands of songs. This means you can quickly find out which samples have been used in each remix or cover.
The database in WhoSampled includes some half a million different tracks from more than 180,000 different artists. Hip hop, rap, R&B, dance, electronica, rock, pop, jazz, funk... all the musical genres have a spot in the app's gigantic database, though you do need an Internet connection to access it.
Do keep in mind that all the songs you can listen to on WhoSampled are hosted on YouTube. This means you can't download the tracks or videos – you can simply listen to the songs you select within the app itself.
